Role Overview

 

You will be provided with full training to go on to be a fully qualified Test Analyst within a rapidly growing and high performing development team. This is an ideal role for someone who is looking to pick up a range of testing skills and begin a successful career within IT where there are extensive progression opportunities for the future.

 

Throughout your time with us, you will be partnered with a ‘mentor’ where you can learn from their wealth of experience and you will also have a ‘buddy’ who will be there for you every step of the way.

 

This opportunity will give you all the knowledge/support/experience you need to progress within our business and help you reach milestones in your career which you may not have thought possible.

Responsibilities

  • Establishing goals and objectives for appropriate test cycles, defining and maintaining test standards and quality assurance tasks
  • Capable of providing estimations on test activities
  • Responsible for enriching test conditions into fully featured test cases
  • Responsible for running test cases against the software solutions being provided and reporting the findings to the project team
  • Creating and maintaining the automation test pack using technologies such as Cucumber, Ruby and Selenium
  • Working in an agile environment e.g. Scrum and Kanban
  • Retesting defect resolution and providing regression test activities
  • Working in a team that requires good communication between onshore and offshore 3rd parties

Qualifications

  • Educated to Degree level in an IT subject or discipline
  • Genuine passion and enthusiasm for IT and Testing
  • Strong communication skills - able to liaise at all levels
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent time-management skills
