Our Graduate Software Developer role presents an exciting opportunity for an IT focused individual to join a rapidly growing and high performing development team.


You will work with a mix of established and cutting edge technologies such as Java8, AngularJS, Apache Camel, Cassandra, RabbitMQ, Spring Boot, Vagrant and Docker. You will be mentored by a team of experienced Software Developers which will give you the opportunity to build a successful career within IT.


This role offers variety as well as responsibility for making real decisions within Hermes. You will go through intense training, take a hands-on learning approach and be involved with all our latest IT projects, including our cutting-edge mobility programme which is the first of its kind in Europe.


Throughout your time with us, you will be partnered with a ‘mentor’ where you can learn from their wealth of experience and you will also have a ‘buddy’ who will be there for you every step of the way.

  • Educated to Degree level in an IT subject or discipline
  • Genuine passion and enthusiasm for IT and code
  • Strong communication skills - able to liaise at all levels
