    Role overview:


    Commercial property and estates role covering a wide remit of acquisitions, lease advisory and property management.



    • Sourcing opportunities and delivering Leasehold property solutions including liaison with external agents, agreeing heads of terms and managing the legal process with external consultants and solicitors
    • Lease advisory. Management of events including contractual rent reviews, lease renewals and lease options with external consultants including agents and solicitors
    • Property management. Management of rent, service charge & insurance payments, managing applications for consents, legal notices etc. and providing the business with advice on compliance
    • Rates management. Managing external consultants through the appeals (CCA) process, implementing mitigation where required and managing the reporting from external consultants
    • Liaison with internal Accounts, providing budgets, helping with forecasts and assisting to develop business cases where appropriate
    • Maintaining close communications with internal and external stakeholders (including with facilities and operational colleagues) to ensure property solutions provide the required platform for the business to develop
    • Maintaining and expanding network contacts to give Hermes a strategic advantage in the marketplace


    • MRICS qualified with some post qualification experience
    • Acquisitions, lease advisory and property management skills
    • Dynamic, reliable and pragmatic
    • Good communicator and IT literate (MS office working knowledge essential)
    • Ability to engage with external consultants and internal operations
    • Good knowledge of Landlord and Tenant legislation
    • National travel (car will be included)
    • B8 warehouse experience (desirable)
