Role overview:

 

Ensure all new accounts processed are trading to agreed volumes and all Hermes Business Accounts are sold in a profitable manor.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all sales leads /enquires are entered into CRM system
  • Up-sell from CRM sales inbox
  • Focus on sales generation by following up business opportunities from interested clients who have contacted Hermes via Web, Phone or referral
  • Identify and contact potential clients in sectors that are complimentary to Hermes core capability, through new business generation, sourcing leads by telephone canvasing and online channels
  • Up-Sell to all leads generated via marketing campaigns, third party lead providers and promotions within myhermes/Hermes Website
  • Generate owns sales to ensure the personal target of 500,000 parcels a year is achieved
  • Responsible for meeting challenging sales targets through proactive activities
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, including dealing clients commercial enquires efficiently and effectively
  • Cold call all opportunities to drive growth
  • Maintain and update records with all relevant information on company systems
  • Maintain strong communication links with all departments
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • To undertake any reasonable instruction given by your line manager

Qualifications

  • Good educational background
  • Show strong potential for a career in Sales
  • Possess experience in dealing with demanding customers
  • Customer database management, communication and inter personal skills
  • Experience and competence in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Good verbal communications and written
  • Desire to learn about operational cost, commercial profitability and Profit & Loss
  • Must demonstrate the capability to work on own initiative, be self-motivated
  • Must be articulate and comfortable when dealing with people at all levels, with much emphasis placed on verbal communication
  • Must be confident in their delivery of facts and opinions with an outgoing personality
