Responsibilities

  • Lead, drive and oversee delivery of the attraction, selection and  on-boarding of the couriers across the network.
  • Ensure a clear understanding of volume and courier numbers are analysed and resource requirements are met
  • Ensure the delivery of best practice procedures are adhered too and all recruitment selection tools are used in line with company policy, compliance measures are met and all candidates have a great experience with Hermes that enhances the brand for future self-employed couriers.
  • Primarily responsible for driving the core courier recruitment strategies with a focus on safeguarding the courier network and developing the entire end-to-end courier recruitment process with a defined ‘to be’ over a one, three and five year period.
  • Produces a strategy for candidate pipeline development and sourcing by utilising all available tools, including but not limited to company website, social media, job boards, employee referral program, recruiting tools and third party assistance

Qualifications

Essential requirement

 

  • Previous recruitment experience with a particular emphasis on transactional and operational or tactical specialism and with self-employed.
  • Up to date understanding of self-employed status and legal status.
  • Planning  short and long term recruitment activity and ensuring the management of others to achieve the overall goal.
  • Objective feedback competence and confidence in all situations.
  • Reporting on all recruitment activity with an emphasis in the identifying when to adapt the plan or preparation for contingencies.
  • Confidence in communicating and escalating problems before they arise and helping to identify solutions to mitigate.
  • Passionate about company image and committed to professional experience for all our candidates.
  • Professional appearance, articulate and able to communicate confidently at all levels.
  • Competent in negotiation skills.
  • Competent in presentations and confident when addressing groups of people.
