A vacancy has arisen within the Hermes UK Sales Directorate, working in the International Business Team reporting to the Head of International Services. The role of International Sales & Account Manager will be agile with a requirement to work across Hermes sites and with European and Worldwide travel.
Purpose of the Role
We are looking for a sales focused & commercially minded International Sales & Account Manager to retain & develop existing International clients, and make profitable new business wins, The scope of the role is to look at UK, EU and RoW for parcel import and export opportunities.
You will be responsible for achieving challenging sales targets through a driven sales approach, identifying, bidding, negotiating, implementing and contracting International Sales opportunities with the support of an existing internal framework. You will achieve this by building strong internal networks with the Client Development and New Business teams to identify every cross border opportunity available to the business.
A period of account management for export clients following ‘go-live’ will be required before transitioning the happy client into a dedicated account management team.
They will report directly to the Head of International Services.
