    Role Overview


    The role will be to provide communication support to HR Centres of Excellence (CoE) (Internal Communications & Engagement, Reward and Learning & Development) using a variety of IT tools. The ideal candidate will have a flair for creative writing/analytical thinking with an interest in HR. 


    • Regular and adhoc reporting from HR systems for each CoE, creation of spreadsheets,  collate and update data and use to analyse and trend data
    • Organise and manage adhoc surveys including design, creation, response rates and reporting
    • Support delivery of public and calendar events including Management Conference
    • Draft and distribute regular and adhoc communications including Infomail and posters, creating PowerPoint presentations, engaging across the business to gather content.
    • Distribute communications materials as required throughout the business
    • Support reward activity including bonus, pay review and awards using mail merge to create and issue letters as required
    • Administer reward schemes including Hermes Superheroes
    • Create and maintain org charts using data from HR systems
    • Manage each of the CoE mailboxes, actioning, responding or forwarding as appropriate
    • Coordinate all Learning & Development activities (e.g. scheduling of training sessions, producing internal certificates, delegate registration, liaising with internal customers and external training providers)
    • Administer the Learning Management System (LMS) / manual data to ensure accurate records. Produce and support L&D with data as requested.
    • Distribution of adhoc and regular awards


    Essential requirements

    • Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint; experience of creating and updating Excel spreadsheets, including using formulas
    • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and written & verbal communication ability
    • Ability to manage a large workload, often with conflicting priorities and to strict deadlines
    • Exceptionally high standards with meticulous attention to detail

    Desirable requirements

    • Ability to edit and upload to intranet
    • Ability to use HR Systems to mine data and create reports
    • Ability to manage a large workload, often with conflicting priorities and to stringent deadlines
    • Experience gained working in an HR department
