Role Overview


The IT Client Co-ordinator is responsible for the integration of new clients to Hermes, the delivery of IT Client Management activities for specific clients, and the introduction of Client related change into IT. The role also comes with the responsibility of Hub and Depot testing of labels for new clients and the communication of client related issues.


The IT Client Co-ordinator is also a champion of continuous service improvement and responsible for maintaining the library of integration timelines and guides.


  • To be the ‘Face of IT’ to existing and prospective Hermes Clients acting as the IT liaison between the client and the business
  • To work with Sales and Marketing to ensure successful management of clients, products and prospects.
  • Provide accurate and timely information on the take-on of new clients and detailed progress reporting.
  • To work with IT Projects/Change and Development specifically in supporting the successful delivery of the IS change portfolio
  • To work with IT Services to ensure a successful day to day service delivery to clients
  • Approach change in a positive and creative manner to maximise the quality of delivery to clients.
  • Develop , maintain and communicate strong governance processes to measure quality of data supplied to / from clients
  • Resolve client issues in a timely manner to the benefit of the Client and Hermes.
  • To ensure all client communication is of a high quality, presenting Hermes as a quality service provider.
  • To ensure that regular client contact is in place and to report on the performance of clients in the IT space.
  • To ensure Hub and Depot testing is carried out prior to go live
  • Document review and archive to ensure only the most up to date documentation is being used


Essential requirement

  • Understanding of Hermes systems
  • Understanding of integration processes
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Analytical thinking
  • Understanding of the development lifecycle
  • Ability to convert technical solutions to ‘business speak’


Desirable requirement

  • Advanced Excel
  • Data Mining experience
  • Experience of Service Delivery and Continuous Improvement
