Reporting to the Warehouse Shift Manager you will manage the overall performance of the Control Room operation. You’ll monitor and control the movements of the Parcels and vehicles throughout the Hub to ensure operational requirements of the shift are met.


You'll have accountability for specific tasks such as:


  • Utilising the Hub operating systems and site observations to safely control and monitor the flow of operations
  • Escalate issues, identify faults, investigate & provide proactive solutions and recommendations
  • Ensure the maintenance of proper process plant records, log sheets, equipment, running data sheets, and take action on readings outside specified values
  • To provide Management Information within established guidelines and timescales, daily reports, operational trends
  • Prepare equipment for maintenance, relay and record a clear and full description of machinery faults to the engineering department and undertake associated risk assessment


You will have the passion, drive and confidence to work cross functionally across the region as part of a growing team.  


Essential Skills for the role:

  • Experience of Distribution Management
  • Ability to succeed in a fluid and fast moving environment
  • Must be able to work on own initiative in a pressurised environment
  • PC Literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Good communicator with the ability to liaise at all levels
  • Great motivational skills and an all-round people person
