     This is an exciting opportunity to join our new Depot opening in Dundee (DD2 1UF) at the end of June 2018!

    Until we open, you would be based at our Perth Depot (PH1 3DZ) to complete any training and work your shifts on a day to day basis.

    To accommodate any travel costs incurred, you would receive a travel allowance of up to £21.60 per day depending on  mileage (45p per mile) which would start when you commence employment at Perth and cease once you transfer to Dundee.


    The Warehouse Operative role involves loading and unloading of vehicles and the sortation and scanning of parcels into cages. This role requires the manual handling of heavy and large items and sacks, physical as well as mental agility is needed. We have day and night roles. Additional duties involve;


    • Pick and pack orders, with repetitive handling/lifting of sometimes heavy and large items
    • Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team
    • Ensure scanning compliance of all stock, with accurate use of the hand held terminal
    • Accurate completion of any relevant paperwork
    • Keep work area clean and tidy
    • Maintain high levels of Health and Safety
    • Achieve the targets and job standards set out
    • Maintain regular contact and ensure any issues are communicated
    • Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirements
    • Operate machinery (only when trained to do so)

    Essential Skills for the role:


    • Previous warehouse experience is essential
    • A FLT licence is desirable but not necessary
    • Good attention to detail
    • Good standard of numeracy
    • Hardworking
    • Ability to deliver good customer service
    • Organised and able to work on own initiative
    • ** experience in Fork Lift Truck driving is always desirable
