    Role overview:

     

    The Hermes International Team are looking for an Operations Assistant to join our team. You will be joining a fast paced, growing area of the business.

     

    Based at the Head Office in Morley and working as part of a small team, the Operations Assistant will be required to provide support in all aspects of the International operation.  The individual will be comfortable with communicating at all levels, have an analytical mind-set, will welcome a challenge and be capable of providing process driven solutions.

    Responsibilities

    • Pro-active KPI analysis by destination and Client to drive overall service performance: The candidate will successfully investigate and report back to the International Operations and Product Manager of potential issues impacting service and will provide a valuable contribution towards providing a resolution. 
    • The candidate will be required to coordinate with the Client Development team to on-board new business including the ongoing support during trial periods and the management of existing services.
    • The candidate will be required to manage the distribution of International reports to key business stakeholders.
    • The candidate will assist the International Operations and Product Manager with annual forecasting.
    • The candidate will work closely with the Hermes Service Desk along with internal Network partners to resolve minor service and/or IT issues.
    • The candidate will work with International Business Analyst to provide key reporting for internal stakeholders.
    • The candidate will use their initiative to identify overall improvements to the International service.

    Qualifications

    • Team player.
    • Enthusiastic and focused approach.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft programmes Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
    • Numeracy skills - GCSE Mathematics C grade minimum.
    • Effective with time management and organisation.
    • Ability to occasionally work under pressure.
    • Due care and attention towards all tasks.
